Our History
Established in 1967 under the Ladies Welfare Centre (LWC), BHEL, Gitanjali School began with just LKG and UKG, 40 students, and two teachers — founded on a simple vision: quality education in a nurturing and disciplined environment. From those humble beginnings it has grown into a trusted name in its community.
Over the decades the school steadily expanded, introducing Pre-KG, then growing class by class up to Class VII, all while staying true to its founding belief in child-centred learning. Today Gitanjali is home to 1,200+ students from Pre-KG to Class VII, still nurturing young minds with knowledge, values, confidence, and compassion.
